Bhagavadgita 2.44 & 2.45

भोगैश्वर्यप्रसक्तानां तयापहृतचेतसाम्।

व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिः समाधौ न विधीयते।।2.44।।

2.44 One-pointed conviction does not become established in the minds of those who delight in enjoyment and affluence, and whose intellects are carried away by that.

2.44. ಭೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಉಳ್ಳವರಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ದೃಢವಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

त्रैगुण्यविषया वेदा निस्त्रैगुण्यो भवार्जुन।

निर्द्वन्द्वो नित्यसत्त्वस्थो निर्योगक्षेम आत्मवान्।।2.45।।

2.45 O Arjuna, the Vedas [Meaning only the portion dealing with rites and duties (karma-kanda).] deal with the three attributes (of Nature). Free yourself from the pairs of opposites, and ever remain in the ality of Sattva (goodness), freed from (the thought of) acisition and preservation, and be established in the Self.

2.45. ವೇದಗಳು ಮೂರು ಗುಣಗಳ(ಸತ್ವ, ರಜಸ್ಸು, ತಮಸ್ಸು) ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ. ನೀನು ಈ ಮೂರು ಗುಣಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಅತೀತನಾಗಿರು. ಎಲೈ ಅರ್ಜುನನೆ, ನಿರ್ದ್ವಂದ್ವವನ್ನೂ , ನಿತ್ಯಸತ್ವಸ್ಥನೂ, ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟವನಾಗಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ತಲ್ಲೀನನಾಗಿರು.
