Bhagavadgita 2.40 & 2.41

नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते।

स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात्।।2.40।।

2.40 Here there is no waste of an attempt; nor is there (any) harm. Even a little of this righteousness saves (one) from great fear.

2.40. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದಕ್ಕೆ ನಷ್ಟವೇನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಥವಾ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೊಂದೂ ಹಾನಿಯೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಮಹಾ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಅದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिरेकेह कुरुनन्दन।

बहुशाखा ह्यनन्ताश्च बुद्धयोऽव्यवसायिनाम्।।2.41।।

2.41 O scion of the Kuru dynasty, in this there is a single, one-pointed conviction. The thoughts of the irresolute ones have many branches indeed, and are innumerable.

2.41. ಕರ್ಮಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು, ಎಲೈ ಕುರುವಂಶೋತ್ಪನ್ನನೇ, ಒಂದೇ ಸಮನಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸದವರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಅನೇಕ ಕಾವಲುಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
