Bhagavadgita 2.32 & 2.33

यदृच्छया चोपपन्नं स्वर्गद्वारमपावृतम्।

सुखिनः क्षत्रियाः पार्थ लभन्ते युद्धमीदृशम्।।2.32।।

2.32 O son of Partha, happy are the Ksatriyas who come across this kind of a battle, which presents itself unsought for and which is an open gate to heaven.

2.32. ತಾನಾಗಿ ಇಚ್ಚಿಸದೇ ಬಂದೊದಗಿರುವ, ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ವರ್ಗದ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನೇ ತೆರೆಯುವ ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಭಾಗ್ಯಶಾಲಿಗಳಾದ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರಷ್ಟೇ ಪಡೆಯುವರು.

अथ चैत्त्वमिमं धर्म्यं संग्रामं न करिष्यसि।

ततः स्वधर्मं कीर्तिं च हित्वा पापमवाप्स्यसि।।2.33।।

2.33 On the other hand, if you will not fight this righteous battle, then, forsaking your own duty and fame, you will incur sin.

2.33. ಆದರೆ, ನೀನು ಧರ್ಮಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಮಾಡದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳುಗೈದು ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಗಾಳಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೆ.
