Bhagavadgita 2.14 & 2.15

मात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदुःखदाः।

आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्षस्व भारत।।2.14।।

2.14 The contacts of the senses with the objects, O son of Kunti, which cause heat and cold, pleasure and pain, have a beginning and an end; they are impermanent; endure them bravely, O Arjuna.

2.14. ಕುಂತೀಪುತ್ರನೆ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೊರ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಶೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಉಷ್ಣ, ನಲವು ಮತ್ತು ನೋವುಗಳು, ಆದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿವೆ. ಅವುಗಳು ಅನಿತ್ಯ; ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸು.

यं हि न व्यथयन्त्येते पुरुषं पुरुषर्षभ।

समदुःखसुखं धीरं सोऽमृतत्वाय कल्पते।।2.15।।

2.15 O (Arjuna, who are) foremost among men, verily, the person whom these do not torment, the wise man to whom sorrow and happiness are the same he is fit for Immortality.

2.15. ಇವುಗಳು ಯಾರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ನೋವು - ನಲಿವು ಒಂದೇ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತದೆಯೋ ಅಂತಹ ಧೀರನು, ಎಲೈ ಪುರುಷಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ, ಆತ್ಮನ ಅಮೃತತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಹನಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
