Bhagavadgita 4.19 & 4.20

यस्य सर्वे समारम्भाः कामसङ्कल्पवर्जिताः।

ज्ञानाग्निदग्धकर्माणं तमाहुः पण्डितं बुधाः।।4.19।।

4.19 The wise call him learned whose actions are all devoid of desires and their thoughts, and whose actions have been burnt away by the fire of wisdom.

4.19 ಯಾರ ಕರ್ಮಗಳು ಬಯಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ವರ್ಜಿತವಾಗಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಾಗ್ನಿಯಿಂದ ದಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆಯೋ ಅಂತಹವನು 'ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತ'ನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

त्यक्त्वा कर्मफलासङ्गं नित्यतृप्तो निराश्रयः।

कर्मण्यभिप्रवृत्तोऽपि नैव किञ्चित्करोति सः।।4.20।।

4.20 Having given up attachment to the results of action, he who is ever-contented, dependent on nothing, he really does not do anything even though engaged in action.

4.20 ಕರ್ಮಫಲಾಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ನಿತ್ಯತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿ, ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸದೆ, ಕರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಅವನು ಏನನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವಂತಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
