Bhagavadgita 16.10 & 16.11

काममाश्रित्य दुष्पूरं दम्भमानमदान्विताः।

मोहाद्गृहीत्वासद्ग्राहान्प्रवर्तन्तेऽशुचिव्रताः।।16.10।।

16.10 The demoniac, taking shelter of insatiable lust, pride and false prestige, and being thus illusioned, are always sworn to unclean work, attracted by the impermanent.

16.10 ಎಂದಿಗೂ ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಲಾರದ ಕಾಮವನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿ, ದಂಭ, ಅಭಿಮಾನ, ಮದ ಇವುಗಳಿಂದೊಡಗೂಡಿ, ಅವಿವೇಕದಿಂದ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನೇ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಶುಚಿಯಾದ ವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನೇ ನಿಯಮವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವರು.

चिन्तामपरिमेयां च प्रलयान्तामुपाश्रिताः।

कामोपभोगपरमा एतावदिति निश्िचताः।।16.11।।

16.11 They believe that to gratify the senses unto the end of life is the prime necessity of human civilization. Thus there is no end to their anxiety. 

16.11 ಸಾಯುವವರೆಗೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದಷ್ಟು ಚಿಂತೆಯನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪಭೋಗಿಸುವುದೇ ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು, ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಸರಿಯೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಇರುವರು.
