Bhagavadgita 14.15 & 14.16

रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते।

तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते।।14.15।।

14.15 When one dies in the mode of passion, he takes birth among those engaged in fruitive activities; and when he dies in the mode of ignorance, he takes birth in the animal kingdom.

14.15 ರಜಸ್ಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವಾಗ ಸತ್ತರೆ ಕರ್ಮಾಸಕ್ತರಾದವರ ಮನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಸ್ಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವಾಗ ಸತ್ತವನು ನೀಚಯೋನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.

कर्मणः सुकृतस्याहुः सात्त्विकं निर्मलं फलम्।

रजसस्तु फलं दुःखमज्ञानं तमसः फलम्।।14.16।।

14.16 By acting in the mode of goodness, one becomes purified. Works done in the mode of passion result in distress, and actions performed in the mode of ignorance result in foolishness.

14.16 ಸಾತ್ವಿಕವಾದ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದ ಫಲ ಸಿಗುವುದೆಂದೋ, ರಜಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ದುಃಖವೇ ಫಲವೆಂದೊ ಮತ್ತು ತಮಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಅಜ್ಞಾನವೇ ಫಲವೆಂದೋ ಬಲ್ಲವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
