Bhagavadgita 3.40 & 3.41

इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते।

एतैर्विमोहयत्येष ज्ञानमावृत्य देहिनम्।।3.40।।

3.40 The senses, the mind and the intellect are said to be its seat; through these it deludes the embodied by veiling his wisdom.

3.40 ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳು, ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಇವು ಇವನ ವಾಸಸ್ಥಾನ. ಇವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಜೀವಿಯ ವಿವೇಕ (ಜ್ಞಾನ)ವನ್ನು ಇವನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಮರೆಮಾಡಿ ಮೋಹಕ್ಕೊಳಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.  

तस्मात्त्वमिन्द्रियाण्यादौ नियम्य भरतर्षभ।

पाप्मानं प्रजहि ह्येनं ज्ञानविज्ञाननाशनम्।।3.41।।

3.41 Therefore, O scion of the Bharata dynasty, after first controlling the senses, renounce this one, which is sinful and a destroyer of learning and wisdom.

3.41 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ. ಎಲೈ ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೇ, ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಹತೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ನಂತರ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡುವ ಈ ಪಾಪಿಯನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸು.
