Bhagavadgita 3.28 & 3.29

तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः।

गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते।।3.28।।

3.28 But, O mighty-armed one, the one who is a knower of the facts about the varieties of the gunas (alities) and actions does not become attached, thinking thus: 'The senses rest (act) on the objects of the senses.'

3.28 ಗುಣಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಗು "ಗುಣಗಳು (ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳು) ಗುಣಗಳೊಡನೆ (ವಸ್ತುಗಳೊಡನೆ ) ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸುತ್ತವೆ" ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಗೊಳಗಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

प्रकृतेर्गुणसम्मूढाः सज्जन्ते गुणकर्मसु।

तानकृत्स्नविदो मन्दान्कृत्स्नविन्न विचालयेत्।।3.29।।

3.29 Those who are wholly deluded by the gunas of Nature become attached to the activities of the gunas. The knower of the All should not disturb those of dull intellect, who do not know the All.

3.29 ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯ ಗುಣಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಹಿತರಾದವರು ಗುಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕರ್ಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗವಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯು ಅಲ್ಪಮತಿಗಳಾದ ಇವರನ್ನು ಚಂಚಲಗೊಳಿಸಬಾರದು.
