Bhagavadgita 3.38 & 3.39

धूमेनाव्रियते वह्निर्यथाऽऽदर्शो मलेन च।

यथोल्बेनावृतो गर्भस्तथा तेनेदमावृतम्।।3.38।।

3.38 As fire is enveloped by smoke, as a mirror by dirt, and as a foetus remains enclosed in the womb, so is this enveloped by that.

3.38 ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಹೊಗೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುವಂತೆ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಯು ಧೊಳಿನಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುವಂತೆ, ಗರ್ಭವು ಜರಾಯು ಎಂಬ ಪೊರೆಯಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಹೋಗಿರುವಂತೆ, ಇದು (ವಿವೇಕವು) ಅದರಿಂದ (ಕಾಮದಿಂದ) ಮುಚ್ಚಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

आवृतं ज्ञानमेतेन ज्ञानिनो नित्यवैरिणा।

कामरूपेण कौन्तेय दुष्पूरेणानलेन च।।3.39।।

3.39 O son of Kunti, Knowledge is covered by this constant enemy of the wise in the form of desire, which is an insatiable fire.

3.39 ಎಲೈ ಕೌಂತೇಯನೇ, ತೃಪ್ತಿಯೆಂದರೇನೆಂದು ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಸಾಧಕನಿಗೆ ನಿತ್ಯ ವೈರಿಯಾದ, ಸಾಕು ಎಂಬ ಮಿತಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಈ ಕಾಮರಾಕ್ಷಸನಿಂದ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಆವರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
