Bhagavadgita 3.12 & 3.13

इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविताः।

तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव सः।।3.12।।

3.12 'Being nourished by sacrifices, the gods will indeed give you the coveted enjoyments. He is certainly a theif who enjoys what have been given by them without offering (these) to them.'

3.12 ಯಜ್ಞದಿಂದ ಸುಪ್ರೀತರಾದ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬಯಿಸಿದ ಭೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವರುಅವರಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡದೇ ಯಾವನು ಭೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನು ಕಳ್ಳನೇ ಸರಿ.

यज्ञशिष्टाशिनः सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषैः।

भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात्।।3.13।।

3.13 The righteous who eat the remnants of the sacrifice are freed from all sins; but those sinful ones who cook food (only) for their own sake verily eat sin.

3.13 ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಉಳಿದುದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವ ಸತ್ಪುರುಷರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾಪಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದುವರು. ಯಾರು ತಮಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೋ ಅಂತಹ ಪಾಪಿಗಳು ಪಾಪವನ್ನೇ ಭೋಗಿಸುವರು.
