Bhagavadgita 8.25 & 8.26

धूमो रात्रिस्तथा कृष्णः षण्मासा दक्षिणायनम्।

तत्र चान्द्रमसं ज्योतिर्योगी प्राप्य निवर्तते।।8.25।।

8.25 The mystic who passes away from this world during the smoke, the night, the moonlight fortnight, or in the six months when the sun passes to the south, or who reaches the moon planet, again comes back.

8.25 ಹೊಗೆ, ರಾತ್ರಿ, ಕೃಷ್ಣಪಕ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಾಯನದ ಆರು ಮಾಸಗಳು  - ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದ ಸಾಧಕರು ಚಂದ್ರಲೋಕವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ಪುನಃ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. 

शुक्लकृष्णे गती ह्येते जगतः शाश्वते मते।

एकया यात्यनावृत्तिमन्ययाऽऽवर्तते पुनः।।8.26।।

8.26 According to the Vedas, there are two ways of passing from this world—one in light and one in darkness. When one passes in light, he does not come back; but when one passes in darkness, he returns.

8.26 ಶುಕ್ಲ ಹಾಗು ಕೃಷ್ಣಗಳೆಂಬ ಈ ಎರಡು ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಾದಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಇವೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪುನರಾವೃತ್ತಿ ಉಳ್ಳಂತಹದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತಹದು.
