Bhagavadgita 8.11 & 8.12

यदक्षरं वेदविदो वदन्ति विशन्ति यद्यतयो वीतरागाः।

यदिच्छन्तो ब्रह्मचर्यं चरन्ति तत्ते पदं संग्रहेण प्रवक्ष्ये।।8.11।।

8.11 Persons learned in the Vedas, who utter omkara and who are great sages in the renounced order, enter into Brahman. Desiring such perfection, one practices celibacy. I shall now explain to you this process by which one may attain salvation.

8.11 ವೇದವೇತ್ತರು ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಅಕ್ಷರಪುರುಷ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೋ, ವೈರಾಗಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯಾವ ಪದವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೋ, ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಇಚ್ಛಿಸಿ ಸಾಧಕರು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಚರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೋ ಆ ಪದವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

सर्वद्वाराणि संयम्य मनो हृदि निरुध्य च।

मूर्ध्न्याधायात्मनः प्राणमास्थितो योगधारणाम्।।8.12।।

8.12 The yogic situation is that of detachment from all sensual engagements. Closing all the doors of the senses and fixing the mind on the heart and the life air at the top of the head, one establishes himself in yoga.

8.12 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹತೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರಾಣವಾಯುಗಳನ್ನು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿ ಯೋಗಧಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು,
