Bhagavadgita 1.35 & 1.36

एतान्न हन्तुमिच्छामि घ्नतोऽपि मधुसूदन।

अपि त्रैलोक्यराज्यस्य हेतोः किं नु महीकृते।।1.35।।

1.35. These I do not wish to kill, though they kill me, O Krishna, even for the sake of dominion over the three worlds; leave alone killing them for the sake of the earth.

1.35. ಹೇ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ, ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮಾತಿರಲಿ, ಮೂರು ಲೋಕಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವುದಾದರೂ ನಾನು ಇವರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಇವರು ನನ್ನನು ಕೊಂದರು ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ.

निहत्य धार्तराष्ट्रान्नः का प्रीतिः स्याज्जनार्दन।

पापमेवाश्रयेदस्मान्हत्वैतानाततायिनः।।1.36।।

1.36. By killing these sons of Dhritarashtra, what pleasure can be ours, O Janardana? Only sin will accrue to us from killing these felons.

1.36. ಇಂತಹ ಅಕ್ರಮಕಾರರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಪಾಪವೇ ಘಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಾವು ಸುಖವಾಗಿರಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯ?
