Bhagavadgita 4.15 & 4.16

एवं ज्ञात्वा कृतं कर्म पूर्वैरपि मुमुक्षुभिः।

कुरु कर्मैव तस्मात्त्वं पूर्वैः पूर्वतरं कृतम्।।4.15।।

4.15 Having known thus, duties were performed even by the ancient seekers of Liberation. Thererfore you undertake action itself as was performed earlier by the ancient ones.

4.15 ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದೇ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮುಮುಕ್ಷುಗಳೂ ಕೂಡ ಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಹಿಂದಿನವರು ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ, ನೀನೊ ತಿಳಿದು ಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡು.

किं कर्म किमकर्मेति कवयोऽप्यत्र मोहिताः।

तत्ते कर्म प्रवक्ष्यामि यज्ज्ञात्वा मोक्ष्यसेऽशुभात्।।4.16।।

4.16 Even the intelligent are confounded as to what is action and what is inaction. I shall tell you of that action by knowing which you will become free from evil.

4.16 ಕರ್ಮ ಯಾವುದು? ಅಕರ್ಮ ಯಾವುದು? ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಂಡಿತರೂ ಕೂಡ ಭ್ರಾಂತರಾಗುವರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು (ಕರ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕರ್ಮದ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು) ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನು. ಇದನ್ನು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದರೆ ಅಶುಭದಿಂದ (ಜನನ ಮರಣ ಚಕ್ರವಾದ ಸಂಸಾರದಿಂದ) ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಪಡೆಯುವೆ.
