Bhagavadgita 18.48 & 18.49

सहजं कर्म कौन्तेय सदोषमपि न त्यजेत्।

सर्वारम्भा हि दोषेण धूमेनाग्निरिवावृताः।।18.48।।

18.48 Every endeavor is covered by some sort of fault, just as fire is covered by smoke. Therefore one should not give up the work which is born of his nature, O son of Kunti, even if such work is full of fault.

18.48 ಹೇ ಕೌಂತೇಯನೇ, ತನ್ನ ಕರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷವಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬಾರದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಗೆಯು ಮುಸುಕಿರುವಂತೆ ಸಕಲ ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೋಷವು ಮುಸುಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು.

असक्तबुद्धिः सर्वत्र जितात्मा विगतस्पृहः।

नैष्कर्म्यसिद्धिं परमां संन्यासेनाधिगच्छति।।18.49।।

18.49 One can obtain the results of renunciation simply by self-control and by becoming unattached to material things and disregarding material enjoyments. That is the highest perfectional stage of renunciation.

18.49 ಯಾವ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು, ಮತ್ತೊಂದರ ಬಯಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವನು, ಸಂನ್ಯಾಸದ ಮೂಲಕ 'ನೈಷ್ಕರ್ಮ್ಯ'ವೆಂಬ ಪರಮಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು.
