Bhagavadgita 18.30 & 18.31

प्रवृत्तिं च निवृत्तिं च कार्याकार्ये भयाभये।

बन्धं मोक्षं च या वेत्ति बुद्धिः सा पार्थ सात्त्विकी।।18.30।।

18.30 O son of Prtha, that understanding by which one knows what ought to be done and what ought not to be done, what is to be feared and what is not to be feared, what is binding and what is liberating, that understanding is established in the mode of goodness.

18.30 'ಇದು ಪ್ರವೃತ್ತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗ, ಇದು ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗ, ಇದು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು, ಇದು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಅಂಜಿಕೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾದುದು, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಜಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಬಂಧವು, ಇದು ಮೋಕ್ಶವು' ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯು ಸಾತ್ವಿಕ.

यया धर्ममधर्मं च कार्यं चाकार्यमेव च।

अयथावत्प्रजानाति बुद्धिः सा पार्थ राजसी।।18.31।।

18.31 And that understanding which cannot distinguish between the religious way of life and the irreligious, between action that should be done and action that should not be done, that imperfect understanding, O son of Prtha, is in the mode of passion.

18.31 ಎಲೈ ಪಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಯಾವ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೂ, ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನೂ, ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನೂ, ಮಾಡಬಾರದನ್ನೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅದು ರಾಜಸಬುದ್ಧಿಯು.
