Bhagavadgita 18.18 & 18.19

ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं परिज्ञाता त्रिविधा कर्मचोदना।

करणं कर्म कर्तेति त्रिविधः कर्मसंग्रहः।।18.18।।

18.18 Knowledge, the object of knowledge and the knower are the three factors which motivate action; the senses, the work and the doer comprise the threefold basis of action.

18.18 ಅರಿವು, ಅರಿಯಲ್ಪಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು, ಅರಿಯುವಾತನು - ಎಂದು ಕರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಬಗೆಯ ಪ್ರೇರಕಗಳು. ಕರಣ, ಕರ್ಮ, ಕರ್ತ - ಎಂದು ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಬಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು.

ज्ञानं कर्म च कर्ता च त्रिधैव गुणभेदतः।

प्रोच्यते गुणसंख्याने यथावच्छृणु तान्यपि।।18.19।।

18.19 In accordance with the three modes of material nature, there are three kinds of knowledge, action, and performers of action. Listen as I describe them.

18.19 ಜ್ಞಾನಾವೂ, ಕರ್ಮವೂ, ಕರ್ತನೂ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ಗುಣಭೇದದಿಂದ ಮೂರು ಮೂರು ಬಗೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದೆಂದು ಗುಣಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವ ಸಾಂಖ್ಯಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದೆ. ಅವುಗಳಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಹೇಳುವೆನು ಕೇಳು.
