Bhagavadgita 16.6 & 16.7

द्वौ भूतसर्गौ लोकेऽस्मिन् दैव आसुर एव च।

दैवो विस्तरशः प्रोक्त आसुरं पार्थ मे श्रृणु।।16.6।।

16.6 O son of Prtha, in this world there are two kinds of created beings. One is called the divine and the other demonic. I have already explained to you at length the divine qualities. Now hear from Me of the demoniac.

16.6 ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ದೈವ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸುರ ಎಂದು ಎರಡು ಬಗೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಸೃಷ್ಟಿಗಳಿರುವುವು. ಪಾರ್ಥನೆ, ದೈವೀಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾಯಿತು. ಇನ್ನು ಆಸುರೀ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು ಕೇಳು.

प्रवृत्तिं च निवृत्तिं च जना न विदुरासुराः।

न शौचं नापि चाचारो न सत्यं तेषु विद्यते।।16.7।।

16.7 Those who are demoniac do not know what is to be done and what is not to be done. Neither cleanliness nor proper behavior nor truth is found in them.

16.7 ಆಸುರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಇದು ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು, ಇದು ಬಿಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದು ಎಂಬುದು ತಿಳಿಯದು. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಚಿತ್ವವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಚಾರವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
