Bhagavadgita 15.8 & 15.9

शरीरं यदवाप्नोति यच्चाप्युत्क्रामतीश्वरः।

गृहीत्वैतानि संयाति वायुर्गन्धानिवाशयात्।।15.8।।

15.8 The living entity in the material world carries his different conceptions of life from one body to another as the air carries aromas.

15.8 ಈ ಶರೀರದೊಡೆಯನು ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವಾಗ, ಗಾಳಿಯು ಹೂವೇ ಮುಂತಾದ ಆಶ್ರಯದಿಂದ ವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

श्रोत्रं चक्षुः स्पर्शनं च रसनं घ्राणमेव च।

अधिष्ठाय मनश्चायं विषयानुपसेवते।।15.9।।

15.9 The living entity, thus taking another gross body, obtains a certain type of ear, tongue, and nose and sense of touch, which are grouped about the mind. He thus enjoys a particular set of sense objects.

15.9 ಕಿವಿ, ಕಣ್ಣು, ಸ್ಪರ್ಶ, ನಾಲಿಗೆ, ಮೂಗು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜೀವನು ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಭೋಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
