दम्भो दर्पोऽभिमानश्च क्रोधः पारुष्यमेव च।
अज्ञानं चाभिजातस्य पार्थ सम्पदमासुरीम्।।16.4।।
16.4 Arrogance,
pride, anger, conceit, harshness and ignorance-these qualities belong to those
of demonic nature, O son of Prtha.
16.4 ಡಾಂಭಿಕತನ, ಸೊಕ್ಕು, ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ, ಸಿಡುಕು, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸುವ ಬಿರುನುಡಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಜ್ಞಾನ ಇವುಗಳು, ಎಲೈ ಪಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಅಸುರ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕವನಾಗಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುವು.
दैवी सम्पद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता।
मा शुचः सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव।।16.5।।
16.5 The
transcendental qualities are conducive to liberation, whereas the demonic
qualities make for bondage. Do not worry, O son of Pandu, for you are born with
the divine qualities.
16.5 ದೈವೀಸಂಪತ್ತು ಮೋಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ, ಆಸುರೀಸಂಪತ್ತು ಬಂಧನಕ್ಕೂ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವುದೆಂಬುದು ಬಲ್ಲವರ ಮತವು. ಪಾಂಡುಪುತ್ರನೆ, ನೀನು ದೈವೀಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕವನಾಗಿಯೇ ಹುಟ್ಟಿರುವೆ, ಶೋಕಿಸದಿರು.
