Bhagavadgita 14.11 & 14.12

सर्वद्वारेषु देहेऽस्मिन्प्रकाश उपजायते।

ज्ञानं यदा तदा विद्याद्विवृद्धं सत्त्वमित्युत।।14.11।।

14.11 The manifestations of the mode of goodness can be experienced when all the gates of the body are illuminated by knowledge.

14.11 ಯಾವಾಗ ಈ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಇಂದ್ರಿಯ ದ್ವಾರಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದೋ ಆಗ ಸತ್ವವು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

लोभः प्रवृत्तिरारम्भः कर्मणामशमः स्पृहा।

रजस्येतानि जायन्ते विवृद्धे भरतर्षभ।।14.12।।

14.12 O chief of the Bharatas, when there is an increase in the mode of passion, the symptoms of great attachment, uncontrollable desire, hankering, and intense endeavor develop.

14.12 ಎಲೈ ಭರತಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠನೆ, ರಜಸ್ಸು ಬೆಳೆದಾಗ ಅತ್ಯಾಸೆ, ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹವಣಿಸುವುದು, ಕರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದು, ಶಾಂತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದು, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ "ಅದು ಬೇಕು, ಇದು ಬೇಕು" ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿರುವುದು - ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುವು.
