Bhagavadgita 8.17 & 8.18

सहस्रयुगपर्यन्तमहर्यद्ब्रह्मणो विदुः।

रात्रिं युगसहस्रान्तां तेऽहोरात्रविदो जनाः।।8.17।।

8.17 By human calculation, a thousand ages taken together is the duration of Brahma's one day. And such also is the duration of his night.

8.17 ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಒಂದು ಹಗಲು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಯುಗಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಒಂದು ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಯುಗಗಳ ಪರ್ಯಂತ ಎಂದು ಕಾಲಮಾನವನ್ನು ಅಳೆಯುವ ತಜ್ಞರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

अव्यक्ताद्व्यक्तयः सर्वाः प्रभवन्त्यहरागमे।

रात्र्यागमे प्रलीयन्ते तत्रैवाव्यक्तसंज्ञके।।8.18।।

8.18 When Brahma's day is manifest, this multitude of living entities comes into being, and at the arrival of Brahma's night they are all annihilated.

8.18 ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಹಗಲು ಆದಾಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚರಾಚರ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳು ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವುವು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾದಾಗ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅದೇ ಮೂಲ ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಳಯವಾಗುವುವು.
