अर्जुन उवाच

स्थितप्रज्ञस्य का भाषा समाधिस्थस्य केशव।

स्थितधीः किं प्रभाषेत किमासीत व्रजेत किम्।।2.54।।

2.54 Arjuna said O kesava, what is the description of a man of steady wisdom who is Self-absorbed? How does the man of steady wisdom speak? How does he sit? How does he move about?

2.54 ಕೇಶವನೆ, ಸ್ಥಿರವಾದ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆನಿಂತ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಯೋಗಿಯು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುವನು? ಹೇಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು? ಸ್ಥಿತಪ್ರಜ್ಞನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವನು?

श्री भगवानुवाच

प्रजहाति यदा कामान् सर्वान् पार्थ मनोगतान्।

आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्टः स्थितप्रज्ञस्तदोच्यते।।2.55।।

2.55 The Blessed said O Partha, when one fully renounces all the desires that have entered the mind, and remains satisfied in the Self alone by the Self, then he is called a man of steady wisdom.

2.55 ಶ್ರೀಭಗವಂತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ -

ಪಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೊರೆದು, ಆತ್ಮನಲ್ಲೇ ತೃಪ್ತನಾಗಿರುವವನು ಸ್ಥಿತಪ್ರಜ್ಞನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
