Bhagavadgita 2.46 & 2.47

यावानर्थ उदपाने सर्वतः संप्लुतोदके।

तावान्सर्वेषु वेदेषु ब्राह्मणस्य विजानतः।।2.46।।

2.46 To the Brahmana who has known the Self, all the Vedas are of as much as is a reservoir of water in a place where there is a flood.

2.46. ಆತ್ಮನ್ನನು ಅರಿತಿರುವ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಜ್ಞಾನಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೇದಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟು ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತವೆಂದರೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಜಲಾಶಯವಿರುವ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾವಿ ನೀರಿನಿಂದಾಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಯೋಗಗಳೂ ಆದಂತೆಯೆ.

कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन।

मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि।।2.47।।

2.47 Your right is for action alone, never for the results. Do not become the agent of the results of action. May you not have any inclination for inaction.

2.47. ನಿನಗಾದರೋ ಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಧಿಕಾರ, ಅದರ ಫಲದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಕರ್ಮಫಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತನಾಗದೆ ಇರು. ಹಾಗೆಂದು, ಕರ್ಮ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ(ಬಿಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ) ನಿನಗೆ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿರದಿರಲಿ.
