तस्मादोमित्युदाहृत्य यज्ञदानतपःक्रियाः।

प्रवर्तन्ते विधानोक्ताः सततं ब्रह्मवादिनाम्।।17.24।।

17.24 Thus the transcendentalists undertake sacrifices, charities, and penances, beginning always with om, to attain the Supreme.

17.24 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮವಾದಿಗಳು ಮಾಡುವ ಯಜ್ಞದಾನ ತಪಸ್ಸುಗಳೆಂಬ ವಿದ್ಯುಕ್ತಕರ್ಮಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ 'ಓಂ' ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಬಳಿಕವೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ.

तदित्यनभिसन्धाय फलं यज्ञतपःक्रियाः।

दानक्रियाश्च विविधाः क्रियन्ते मोक्षकाङ्क्षि।।17.25।।

17.25 One should perform sacrifice, penance and charity with the word tat. The purpose of such transcendental activities is to get free from the material entanglement.

17.25 'ತತ್'ಎಂಬ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿ, ಫಲವನ್ನು ಬಯಸದೆಯೇ, ಯಜ್ಞ ದಾನ ತಪಸ್ಸಿನ ಕರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಮುಕ್ಷುಗಳು ಮಾಡುವರು.
