Bhagavadgita 13.22 & 13.23

पुरुषः प्रकृतिस्थो हि भुङ्क्ते प्रकृतिजान्गुणान्।

कारणं गुणसङ्गोऽस्य सदसद्योनिजन्मसु।।13.22।।

13.22 The living entity in material nature thus follows the ways of life, enjoying the three modes of nature. This is due to his association with that material nature. Thus he meets with good and evil amongst various species.

13.22 ಪುರುಷನು ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವನು. ಗುಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇವನು ಸಂಗವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಇವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ, ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಜನ್ಮಗಳಾಗಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವುದು.

उपद्रष्टाऽनुमन्ता च भर्ता भोक्ता महेश्वरः।

परमात्मेति चाप्युक्तो देहेऽस्मिन्पुरुषः परः।।13.23।।

13.23 Yet in this body there is another, a transcendental enjoyer who is the Lord, the supreme proprietor, who exists as the overseer and permitter, and who is known as the Supersoul.

13.23 ಈ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪುರುಷನು ಉಪದ್ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರು (ಸಾಕ್ಷೀ), ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವವನು, ಪೋಷಿಸುವವನು, ಭೋಗಿಸುವಾತನು, ಮಹೇಶ್ವರನು ಮತ್ತು ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನು ಎಂದು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
