Bhagavadgita 16.18 & 16.19

अहङ्कारं बलं दर्पं कामं क्रोधं च संश्रिताः।

मामात्मपरदेहेषु प्रद्विषन्तोऽभ्यसूयकाः।।16.18।।

16.18 Bewildered by false ego, strength, pride, lust and anger, the demon becomes envious of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is situated in his own body and in the bodies of others, and blasphemes against the real religion.

16.18 ಅಹಂಕಾರವನ್ನೂ, ಬಲವನ್ನೂ, ದರ್ಪವನ್ನೂ, ಕಾಮವನ್ನೂ, ಕ್ರೋಧವನ್ನೂ ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಿ, ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಕ್ಕವರ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅಸೂಯೆಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿರುವರು.

तानहं द्विषतः क्रूरान्संसारेषु नराधमान्।

क्षिपाम्यजस्रमशुभानासुरीष्वेव योनिषु।।16.19।।

16.19 Those who are envious and mischievous, who are the lowest among men, are cast by Me into the ocean of material existence, into various demoniac species of life.

16.19 ಹೀಗೆ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕ್ರೂರರಾದ, ದುಷ್ಟರಾದ ಆ ನೀಚ ಜನರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಂಸಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿರುವ ಆಸುರ ಜನ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಹಾಕುವೆನು.

अनेकचित्तविभ्रान्ता मोहजालसमावृताः।

प्रसक्ताः कामभोगेषु पतन्ति नरकेऽशुचौ।।16.16।।

16.16 Thus perplexed by various anxieties and bound by a network of illusions, one becomes too strongly attached to sense enjoyment and falls down into hell.

16.16 ಹೀಗೆ ಅವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ವಿಧವಾದ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪಗಳಿಂದ ಬಗೆಬಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಭ್ರಾಂತಿಗೊಂಡು ಮೋಹದ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ದು ವಿಷಯಭೋಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿ ಹೊಲಸಿನ ನರಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವರು.

आत्मसम्भाविताः स्तब्धा धनमानमदान्विताः।

यजन्ते नामयज्ञैस्ते दम्भेनाविधिपूर्वकम्।।16.17।।

16.17 Self-complacent and always impudent, deluded by wealth and false prestige, they sometimes perform sacrifices in name only without following any rules or regulations.

16.17 ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವೇ ದೊಡ್ಡವರೆಂದುಕೊಂಡು, ಹಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅಭಿಮಾನದಿಂದಲೂ, ಮದದಿಂದಲೂ ಕೂಡಿದವರಾಗಿ, ದಂಭದಿಂದ ಯಾವ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನೂ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೇ, ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವರು.
