Bhagavadgita 8.23 & 8.24

यत्र काले त्वनावृत्तिमावृत्तिं चैव योगिनः।

प्रयाता यान्ति तं कालं वक्ष्यामि भरतर्षभ।।8.23।।

8.23 O best of the Bharatas, I shall now explain to you the different times at which, passing away from this world, one does or does not come back.

8.23 ಹೇ ಭರತರ್ಷಭ, ಸಾಧಕರಾದವರು ಯಾವಾಗ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದರೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬರುವ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಾರದ ಎರಡು ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

अग्निर्ज्योतिरहः शुक्लः षण्मासा उत्तरायणम्।

तत्र प्रयाता गच्छन्ति ब्रह्म ब्रह्मविदो जनाः।।8.24।।

8.24 Those who know the Supreme Brahman pass away from the world during the influence of the fiery god, in the light, at an auspicious moment, during the fortnight of the moon and the six months when the sun travels in the north.

8.24 ಅಗ್ನಿ, ಜ್ಯೋತಿ, ಹಗಲು, ಶುಕ್ಲಪಕ್ಷ ಅಥವಾ ಉತ್ತರಾಯಣದ ಆರು ಮಾಸಗಳು - ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತಂತಹ ಸಾಧಕರು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲೋಕವನ್ನೇ ಸೇರುವುದರಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

Bhagavadgita 8.21 & 8.22

अव्यक्तोऽक्षर इत्युक्तस्तमाहुः परमां गतिम्।

यं प्राप्य न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम।।8.21।।

8.21 That supreme abode is called unmanifested and infallible, and it is the supreme destination. When one goes there, he never comes back. That is My supreme abode.

8.21 ಇದನ್ನೇ ಅವ್ಯಕ್ತವೆಂದೂ, ಅಕ್ಷರವೆಂದೂ, ಪರಮಗತಿಯೆಂದೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಸೇರಿದವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಪುನಃ ಸಂಸಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅದು ನಾನಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳ. 

पुरुषः स परः पार्थ भक्त्या लभ्यस्त्वनन्यया।

यस्यान्तःस्थानि भूतानि येन सर्वमिदं ततम्।।8.22।।

8.22 The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is greater than all, is attainable by unalloyed devotion. Although He is present in His abode, He is all-pervading, and everything is situated within Him.

8.22 ಹೇ ಪಾರ್ಥ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳೂ ಯಾರಲ್ಲಿರುವುವೋ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾರು ಈ ಸಚರಾಚರ ಪ್ರಪಂಚವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೋ, ಆ ಪರಮಪುರುಷನನ್ನು ಅನನ್ಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.
