पूर्वाभ्यासेन तेनैव ह्रियते ह्यवशोऽपि सः।
जिज्ञासुरपि योगस्य शब्दब्रह्मातिवर्तते।।6.44।।
6.44 By virtue of the divine consciousness of his
previous life, he automatically becomes attracted to the yogic principles—even
without seeking them. Such an inquisitive transcendentalist, striving for yoga,
stands always above the ritualistic principles of the scriptures.

ಪೂರ್ವಜನ್ಮದ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅನಾಯಾಸವಾಗಿ ಯೋಗಮಾರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಎಳೆಯಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು
ಯೋಗದ ಜಿಜ್ಞಾಸುವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ಮಕಾಂಡರೂಪವಾದ ಶಬ್ಧಬ್ರಹ್ಮವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾನೆ.
प्रयत्नाद्यतमानस्तु योगी संशुद्धकिल्बिषः।
अनेकजन्मसंसिद्धस्ततो याति परां गतिम्।।6.45।।
6.45 But when the yogi engages himself with sincere
endeavor in making further progress, being washed of all contaminations, then
ultimately, after many, many births of practice, he attains the supreme goal.
6.45 ನಿರಂತರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪಾಪರಹಿತನಾದ ಈ ಯೋಗಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ಜನ್ಮದ ಸಾಧನೆಯು ಫಲದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮೋಕ್ಷವು (ಸಿದ್ಧಿ) ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
